I spent the better part of two weeks tweaking code to change the look of the site, learning CSS along the way. Which for an old dog like the Kahuna, is no mean feat.

After that, it was time to start creating content. And that has been the focus for the last week and will continue to be for the next few weeks. It doesn’t matter if it’s pretty if there is nothing to look at.

I decided I needed an easier to maintain way to let you guys know what has been updated on Arnathia. So – with a little help from good folks at World Anvil’s Discord server, the new page is up.

The folks above are the first fully fleshed-out characters on Arnathia. More than half have been created for other people as “thank yous” or tributes.

Like most of us, yours truly has been subject to “Stay-At-Home” orders to keep the spread of COVID-19 down. And like many who have tried to work from home, I have run into the usual challenges.

So I was only able to really get one project complete this week. But it’s one I like.

This time last week, it looked like both Offspring #3 and Mrs. Kahuna were going to get a couple of weeks off. Now? It looks like it’s more like off until August. The dogs don’t know what to do with all the people home.

Me, I started trying to get more productive on Arnathia. First up was completing a map of the capital city, Orsholon City

I know – just how exciting can a map of a desert be? Well, truth be told, it’s not the map itself that is exciting here; it’s the story behind it.

So, my in-house artist (and Offspring #3) finished this cartoon-style rendition of Hargus Hurryhouse, my player character and main man on Arnathia. And I must say – I think it’s a pretty damn good job!

So, I added more buildings, colored the ground and added elevation.

And I’m not happy with it.

So, apparently is the day to be inspired by folks on the interwebs. This time, it was a post on Instagram
