#KahunaArtLove – Cosplay

So, two weeks into the Coronatine and things are falling behind a bit. This was supposed to be a Friday post. It’s Saturday. Yay me.

This week is about cosplayers. It’s also about this old guy not using his head about where to find said cosplayers. See, the post about cosplayers went out on Twitter. I figured I’d get a bunch of links to people who cosplay. But as the week went on, I got very little response. Odd, I thought.

I went to write this yesterday, and still not a ton of response. Then it dawned on me. I was on the wrong platform. Cosplay is about the visual. And Twitter isn’t the visual platform. That’s Instagram. Oops.

So without further ado, I give you some of the ones I came across. If you know of any that should be featured in the future, or if you’re a cosplayer – send me links!

Found out that I still have a job and salary until the end of April for sure. So that’s nice. I’m so grateful that I have the opportunity to work from home during this crazy time and my heart sincerely goes out to everyone who does not have that option. The first is @SpiderTiffany, who, as her name implies, has a way with Spiderperson costumes. They also have a way with other costumes:

The costumes are great representations and show some awesome talent. Go give SpiderTiffany some love! IG: @SpiderTiffany

Next up is Willow. Their latest set of tweets shows the progress of their newest creation:

Willow builds from scratch and for me, does a phenomenal job. at recreating the character.

And the fact that they share the build can help you understand not only the process, but the creativity behind it.

They include videos as well, so you can see how different parts work and are built, like the tail on this costume.

Head on over to Twitter to check them out, @WillowCreativ3

The last one this week is Ebony Warrior Studios LLC.

Just take a look at the size of this rig! It’s massive!

Again, another creator who shares his work and his process. And who does great work.

You’ll find him at @ebonywarriorLLC.

That’s it for this week – next up: Horror art!
